Indymedia is a collective of independent activists offering
grassroots,
autonomous, non-corporate coverage run by
volunteers. Indymedia is known through its internet sites, paper
publications and radio and video productions. However, above all,
it's an open, radically transparent network of people organising
media in such a way to avoid filters such as
ownership,
source of funds and source of information.
