Well it happened that at the last meeting of bank members one “husband” claimed that he wants to meet again and so on 16 May – at 17:00 (Wednesday) – in the “Tłok” office, i.e. where we met last time [Kujawsko Pomorskiego Ośrodka Wsparcia Organizacji Pozarządowych “Tłok” at 9 Święta Katarzyna Place (building of the X LO school)]. In economics, a time-based currency is an alternative currency where the unit of exchange is the hour.
Time-based currencies value everyone’s contributions equally. One hour equals one service credit. In these systems, one person volunteers to work for an hour for another person; thus, they are credited with one hour, which they can redeem for an hour of service from another volunteer.
